Very Much Disappointed With Enterprise
Before few weeks my car has been hit by the suicidal deer. I have few repair works to be done & GEICO arranged for the ENTERPRISE to rent a car for me of $40.00 per day payment at car rental tampa. I called at advance & ensured whether they had car I would get in & out of (I’m handicapped). In very severe snow & ice storm we have driven to Enterprise at QUEENSBURY NEW YORK, thirty miles drive.
I feel much pressured of getting into bigger more costly car than I have been led to trust my insurance could pay for, even though I resisted. I resisted an additional insurance as the GEICO had informed me this wasn’t needed as I have comp & collision at my car at car rentals Boston. I even used my charge cards for deposit etc; thus in theory I get THAT protection. I was provided a KIA, & after looking for car, we drove away. We went home & while we tried to acquire my slight hilly but icy driveway a car WOULDN’T DRIVE up a slope. After that 2 people came, pushed after putting shavings & salt we got a car to drive. Then we looked & discovered that passenger’s side front tire has been BALD. We straight away called “Street Side Assistance” & were told we would take the TAXI to get new car as well—if they would find the place which was kept open, which as this is Friday night there are none. (Not to tell that we live in extremely rural area which assistance perso
n looked to think was amusing). Additional suggestions are also not possible in Nevada car rental.
I called office first thing at morning & they were not very helpful too—wished us to drive BALD tire car at snow back towards their location—& then they didn’t know whether they could have the car to drive home!
